Undergraduate & Graduate Student Opportunities
Overview
MIRACLE is committed to helping undergraduate and graduate students learn more about the field of medical microrobots. Undergraduate students can join the Student-Led Innovations in Medical Microrobotics design team to pursue projects in the field in teams with guidance from faculty members. Students can also be funded for their 499 undergraduate research theses, capstone projects, and travel for academic conferences.

Funding Opportunities
Student Led Innovations in Medical Microrobotics (SLIMM)
Undergraduate students interested in becoming more involved in microrobotics research are encouraged to join the Student-Led Innovations in Medical Microrobotics team. This design team gives undergraduates a space to complete research with guidance from professors in Systems Design and Biomedical Engineering. MIRACLE will also fund up to $1000 so student groups can complete their projects. Please contact us if you are intrested in joining or learning more.
Capstone Funding
MIRACLE is committed to helping undergraduate students with their capstone projects relating to medical microrobotics. If you are interested in funding from MIRACLE please fill out the funding webform below.
A funding award of $1500 can be obtained from MIRACLE to support your costs and allow you to complete your capstone project. To apply for this award, please use the intake form below.
499 Undergraduate Research Thesis Funding

A research funding award of $500 can be obtained from MIRACLE to support your costs for consumables to complete your thesis. To apply for this award, please use the intake form below.
Graduate Student Travel Awards
Graduate students who are interested in travelling for conferences are encouraged to fill out the form for MIRACLE’s graduate student travel awards. These awards will allow graduate students to showcase their research at conferences in Canada and internationally.
